2016 EUROPEAN LAUNCH

Indian Motorcycle looks forward to welcoming you to Marbella to ride our newest model - the Scout Sixty.

You’ll ride a 217-km long route on twisting roads to the north of Marbella, giving you plenty of seat time on our newest American middleweight cruiser. Not only that, we are also offering you the chance to get in the cockpit of the Polaris Slingshot to experience this thrilling three-wheeler.

HOTEL

You’ll be staying in the five-star Vinnci Selección Estrella de Mar, just a stone’s throw from Marbella’s famous beach.

The Vinnci Seleccion Estrella de Mar is an upmarket hotel and has its own beach club (which you’ll dine in on your arrival). It has good Wi-Fi, luxurious rooms and plenty of facilities. Urbanización Estrella del Mar, Carretera A7, km 190,5, 29604 Marbella, Málaga, Spain.

ROUTE

We’re offering a long ride on Scout Sixty on a route in a clockwise direction to the north of Marbella.

We’ll roll out of the hotel for a short stint on the dual-carriageway before breaking off up in to the hills. After an hour of riding we’ll reach our first photo area. When that’s in the bag we’ll take you for a coffee and a cake at a favourite stop for local bikers - Bar Merino. From there we’ll wind further north and on well-surfaced roads through some very impressive scenery. Here we will capture some tracking shots and then lead you to our second photo area of the day. Lunch isn’t too much further and after 130km of riding we’ll pull in to the Venta Antigua San Antonio, a seventeenth-century building completely restored and converted into a restaurant. We’ll then start our return to Marbella, letting you have a third and final photo shoot, aiming to get you back to the hotel by 3pm – and the chance to head out again for a blast in Slingshot.

SCOUT SIXTY, WITH ITS 999CC OF DISPLACEMENT, IS A STYLISHLY BLACKED OUT VERSION OF THE AWARD-WINNING SCOUT. IT HAS A BLACK ALUMINIUM FRAME AND SWINGARM, BLACK VINYL SEAT AND GLOSS-BLACK CAST WHEELS.

EUROPEAN MODELS COME WITH 78 HP, 89 NM OF TORQUE AND ANTI-LOCK BRAKES. AND WITH THE STARTING MSRP IN EUROPE AT JUST €11,990, it’s the lowest priced entry INto indian motorcycle ownership.

While Scout Sixty has 134cc less capacity than the Indian Scout (and a 5-speed transmission instead of a 6-speed) we hope you find that its linear powerband never disappoints. This model is an affordable entry point in to the Indian Motorcycle brand and is just at home cruising on long journeys as it is riding on short trips around towns or cities. With plenty of V-twin power on tap, Scout Sixty has an ideal mix of efficiency and the classic Indian Motorcycle style.
You will discover that Scout Sixty feels comfortable and planted thanks to its low centre of gravity and low seat height of 643mm, but it also handles superbly well the with best-in-class lean angle – even when pushing the bike hard through corners.

A complete line of accessories such as fit-kit seats, footpeg locators and handlebars are designed to tailor this model to the rider. Riders can also customise Scout Sixty with over 200 official accessories including wire wheels, mini-ape handlebars, performance shock absorbers and the 1920 Solo Saddle.
